The Swamp Girl

A floral portrait of one of my characters, named Victoria. She is a young lady living during the victorian era, in my novel. She has a lot of knowledge about healing and plants. She wants to become a doctor, even though it is not an option for a woman in her society.
Victoria is a key character at the beginning of the story. She is helping to connect the dots on numerous things.
For the flowers symbolism, the lotuses are connected to purity, elegance and self-fulfillment of the soul. It is also linked to her relation with medicine.
The mimosas are representing her sensibility, sweetness, safety, and also the secret on the love she is carrying to someone special for her.
